We saved them. We were going to send them to Locks of Love but didn’t get them mailed before we left Canada. So I guess the children will have to wait.

Thanks guys. It’s tough giving in to the Man. But if my sacrifice provokes people like Mark, who have a high public profile and a wide range of influence, to prophetically expose the Lemming-ness of our culture by growing their hair, then I may just be able to forgive myself. And that moment of silence was a very nice touch.
I suppose I’d like to believe that by adopting this conformist identity I’m really going ‘undercover’ to subvert the Man from the inside… but I know it had more to do with the money and travel perks.
Speaking of cutting hair, Ryan, is your beard still there?
Actually the beard has been replaced by a goatee and a shaved head…always a surprise. :)
He looks cute either way.. (at least now there will be no food getting stuck in the facial hair!)

The beard was nearly braidable, and that was too much for me even.. Next winter’s beard is going to start nearer to Christmas..
